In the Spirit of InsidersAndOutsiders, this would be one way to bring Outsiders into this discussion.
So, I suggest we try this at OOPSLA this year. As with the SIGGRAPH BOF, some of the steering committee and the chair(s) for next year would need to attend to listen to make this worthwhile.
