I missed the last !OOPSLAs, first because of business reasons, then because I got leukemia and needed my time to recover from it and its treatment. Being healthy again, I enjoy speaking and working at conferences now, but my (bad) submissions for this years OOPSLA didn't make it past the program committee. I wouldn't have been able to go there anyway, because I am starting a new job soon.
Nevertheless, I feel excited to be invited to participate in this discussion.
