(back to OnwardPlanning)Hi -
- How do you like "it;em" as a name (Intriguing Technologies; Emerging Methodologies)? (from here on in we'll be referring to onward as item) [[Are corrected - eb]]]
- Is the call all in one?
- eb: Maybe it looks like it is all in one, but then when people click through they find out that there is a whole "item" world...
- jn: separate submission system, separate PC, separate CFP. One liner in the the main CFP (papers in the main track that are not considered suitable may be redirected to the essays, item, or practitioner reports track)
- jn: suggests top level call for item papers, essays, top level call for films.
- OOPSLA call for panels - jn: Panels may fall under the essayitempracreport umbrellas, and may be redirected.
- eb: item and essays are both "aspects" of OOPSLA, in all things except for the full papers?
- Are essay/item PC'ers on the main PC fully? (as in they review 15 papers + their own track?, go to the meeting) If so, do we get "sub invites" and then you invite these people to be on the PC?
- OR: Do we have an interface between the item/essay PC's and the main PC.
- If the item PC is a sub-PC, then will those people be counted as PC-members wrt their submissions too? Will they be more harshly reviewed (say, if an item PC'er submits an essay, does it need 6 reviewers??)
- How do we coordinate panels and keynotes with main oopsla?
jn: they have to be cross-checked for contentpeopleetc.
