I am interested in attending the Extravagaria workshop at OOPSLA 2004 because I have recently discovered the work of Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin. He wrote in the early 20th century, but his ideas seem so relevant to this topic that I just wanted to make people aware of them. I really enjoy listening to people talk about ideas that resonate with Robert W. Terry's "authenticity" and Bakhtin's "non-alibi of being", and I've seen a lot of them expressed on this wiki. These ideas seem to be very relevant right now to the agile movement as agility breaks into the corporate world and is threatened by commercialization.
