I feel similarly about wallingf, my login name since 1986. I wonder to what extent our logins seep into our identities? -- EugeneWallingford
I have to admit, when the news mentions "RPGs" in Iraq or Israel, I do a mental doubletake. My own login changes frequently, but then again I changed my name when I married & changed back when I divorced, and went through high school with a girl who had the same name I do. So I'm with Juliet when it comes to nominal import. -- JanetHolmes
I'm surprised that more people don't get their own domains in order to have an online identity that is not tied to a school or company. Even at my company, Sun, I'm rpg at dreamsongs.com, mostly. -rpg
I removed wikispam from a few pages. Not sure if they overwrote contents or just appended their links. Origin of spammers:60.25.125.125 --GirtsKalnins
I was talking to Ward Cunningham and he has added some filters to his wiki (which is not the same implementation as this one) that don't permit some stereotyped spam postings (like the ones you deleted and like ones I've beeen deleted. They are spam in the sense of trying to boost their google ratings by stealing ours. I will look into this over time. -rpg
